We have brought Indonesia to you: a private yacht, ten cabins, and the last wild water in the archipelago. Come for a week, or for both. The mornings will ask something of you. The afternoons will not.

A private expedition yacht, forty metres of her, with ten cabins, eighteen crew and nobody else for a hundred miles. Two weeks in the most remote water in Indonesia, built the way we build everything: one theme a week, one long table, and the afternoons deliberately, defendedly empty.

The Kailana is the same length as a traditional phinisi and gives each guest more room than any other private yacht in the archipelago. Eight of her suites open onto a balcony of their own. The dining is on the aft deck under the sail canopy; the bar is on the sundeck under the mast. She carries a spa, a tender, and a crew who have spent their lives in this water.

We host the weeks. You take the sea. Come for one week or for both — the first carries Capital, the second carries Reach, and a woman who wants only one of them is not asked to sit through the other. The boat goes where the water is best that day, and the itinerary is written by the captain in the morning, not by us in an office.

The details you did not ask for

This is a working fortnight that happens to be at sea. A finance faculty one week, a lead-generation faculty the next, a session every morning, and two women documenting the whole of it. For most of the women who come, that makes it a business expense rather than a holiday. The paperwork we hand you afterward is written with your accountant in mind — ask them, and we will make the question an easy one to answer.

Your cabin is made up before you board. The books you have been meaning to read are on the shelf, bookmarked where you left off. Linen is French and monogrammed and yours to take home. Phones work when the boat says they do, which is less often than you would like and exactly as often as you need.

This is not decoration. It is the difference between being hosted and being known.
