The Evenings
An Evening
No. I
THE FIRST CITY WILL BE NAMED TO MEMBERS FIRST
AUTUMN 2026
Twelve women. One evening.
Sabbatical
Twelve women. One evening.
Once a quarter, in a new city every time — never a repeat.
The invitation arrives letterpressed, by hand. There is no agenda and nothing to prepare. We open the same way every time, in every city — one question, answered aloud by each woman, before anyone eats. It takes six minutes and it is the reason this is not a networking dinner.
Dinner is dressed for. Phones are not at the table. What is said there stays there — absolutely, permanently, without exception.
An Evening cannot be booked, requested, or bought. Members are invited, one at a time, by name. An invitation accepted is an invitation honored: places are scarce, and accepting one then not appearing costs another woman her seat.
